The diet of a baby has to be as varied as possible, just like that of children and adults. They still can't eat a lot of foods, but it's important to combine them in different ways, like with this Cherry, Pear, and Banana Porridge recipe.

Children from twelve months of age can start taking this dish, following the advice of the pediatrician so that they do not suffer from food allergies. The vitamins in the fruit are very important for its growth, so do not forget to complete your diet with these porridges.

  • 1 pear
  • 1 banana
  • 10 cherries
  • 1 tangerine
  • Tips: you can add a cookie, as long as it is gluten-free to avoid allergies. If you use cookies or normal cereals, consult your pediatrician first

1. Wash and peel the pear and cherries, remove the stones and chop them. Do the same with the banana. Cut a melon slice, remove the seeds and cut it into pieces.

2. Put the pear and cherries in a saucepan, add a little water and let it cook for a few minutes so that the fruit softens.

3. Crush the banana in the blender, add to the previous mixture and beat everything together so that it is finer and integrated.

4. Squeeze the tangerine and add the juice to give it the flavor you want, more or less sweet. If the porridge is too liquid, you can crush the segments and add the pulp, removing the seeds well, or add a gluten-free cookie.
